All PhD students are invited to prepare a short oral presentation (poster pitch; max 3 min, max 2 slides) to attract conference participants to their poster.

Presenting a poster provides students with the opportunity to engage with other attendees, share their research, and train presentation skills.

Abstract submission

Participants wishing to present their posters should submit their abstracts by September 1st 2023.

Please download the abstract template and follow the format carefully.

Abstracts can be submitted via registration OR abstract submission form.

Guidelines for poster presentation
  • Poster size: A0 ( 841 × 1189 mm, in portrait format)
  • We encourage you to set up the posters on the 1st day of the Conference
  • Mounting supplies are provided by the site

GUIDELINES for POSTER PITCH

Poster pitching during the Poster Pitch Sessions is limited only to PhD students.

Poster Pitch sessions take place on the first conference day. Each student will have max 3 minutes and max 2 slides to present their pitch. Kindly ensure that the slides are prepared in PowerPoint format, with a slide format of 16:9.

The order of presentations will be published on September 13th.

To ensure a smooth process, please submit your slides for the Poster Pitch sessions to e-mail: vita@osi.lv by September 12th.

Please be aware that personal laptops will not be allowed for presentations. The conference provides the necessary audiovisual equipment:

  • Video Projector
  • A Windows-compatible computer to which your presentation will be uploaded
  • Screen
  • Lectern and Microphone
  • Laser Pointer
